We've always wanted to use stylish pencils for our own pen & paper games... but the existing range just didn't convince us. The pencils were either very boring and plain or, in the case of more unusual variants, no longer usable after a few sharpenings.
So we looked for a solution. The materials had to be natural and the pens had to fit perfectly into a fantasy epic thanks to their unusual look.
Our special refill:
Our special pencil lead is made of graphite powder and will outlast approx. 100 normal pencils. The hardness grade is HB and the writing can be erased as normal. The lead does not need to be sharpened, does not smudge and, thanks to the twist-off thread, can be easily replaced if it runs out. You can find replacement refills in our store at any time and for the long term.
This is not only particularly sustainable, but also allows us to use high-quality wood for the pencil shaft.
The wood:
Guibourtia (lighter brown variant): The wood color is reminiscent of chocolate. Its wood is also often used for harps, guitars, recorders and other woodwind instruments.
Bocote (dark variant): Bocote wood is characterized by its unique tiger grain and is a perfect match for our Bocote wooden cubes
Once a suitable piece of wood has been selected, it is meticulously carved, sanded and oiled by hand. The many notches give the pencil a unique look, as if it had been made in a bygone era.
