We always had the great desire to use stylish pencils for our own pen & paper rounds... but the existing offer has simply not convinced us. Either the pencils were very boring and plain or, in the case of fancier variants, no longer usable after a few sharpenings.
So we looked for a solution. It should be natural materials and the pencils should fit perfectly into a fantasy epic thanks to the unusual look.
Our special refill:
Our special pencil lead is made of graphite powder and outlasts about 100 normal pencils. The hardness level is HB and the writing can be erased normally. The lead does not need to be sharpened, does not smudge and can, thanks to the twist thread, be easily replaced if it should be used up. You can find replacement refills at any time and also long-term in our store.
This is not only particularly sustainable but also allows us to use particularly high-quality processed wood for the pencil shaft.
The wood:
The light edition was made from the European copper beech. (Tree of the Year 2022) The tree species is characterized by very delicate and tough wood that is versatile.
The darker edition was made from the American amber tree (also starfish tree). The grain and color of the wood is reminiscent of a walnut tree. Fun Fact: The branches of the amber tree are sought after divining rods :)
After selecting a suitable piece, it was carefully turned, sanded, polished and oiled.
Each pencil comes with an inserted pencil lead in a case.
