The approximately 30 cm tall Beholder statue from the Icons series by Iron Studios presents this legendary monster in a particularly impressive way. The Beholder hovers above a rocky dungeon floor, its large central eye fixed firmly on its prey. Open jaws, sharp teeth, a tongue stretched far out, and the differently angled eyestalks give the figure a wonderfully menacing sense of dynamism.
The many organic details are especially well done: wrinkled skin, irregular scales, spines, and subtle color gradients make the monster look unpleasantly alive. Gold, weapons, and the remains of previous adventurers lie on the base—apparently, not every party succeeded on their last saving throw.
