Dunewood - Somewhere between the old forest and the quarry
The locals call it the Petrified Forest. Because something strange happened here, so long ago that no one knows anymore whether it was a curse, a blessing, or simply the quiet work of time: the trees of Dunewood have turned to stone. Not felled, not rotted away - simply remained. Forever.
Their trunks still bear the grain of living wood, warm golden tones and deep browns that shimmer in the light like aged oak. But no axe in the world can overcome them. No fire consumes their bark. And whoever places a finger on the surface feels not wood, but stone. Cold, smooth, and ancient.
It is said that whoever carries a piece of Dunewood also carries a piece of that unyielding strength. And perhaps - just perhaps - also a little of the luck that dwells in a forest that even fate itself did not dare to fell.
Natural stone meets the gaming table
Sandstone is an earthy, pleasantly weighty material with a matte, organic surface; it sits solidly in the hand and produces a soft, satisfying clatter when rolled on wood or in a dice tray. The black numbers deeply engraved into the stone are clearly legible and create a beautiful contrast with the warm base.
In the light, the Dice shift between soft gold and amber - depending on the angle of the light, a different interplay of color and grain appears.
Who are these Dice for?
- For rangers, druids, and nature-based classes who extend their character identity all the way to the gaming table
- For everyone who has had enough of resin and wants to hold real material in their hand
- As an exceptional gift for Dungeon Masters and TTRPG players with a sense of aesthetics
- As a collector's item that also makes a great impression away from the gaming table
Your relic deserves respect
Stone dice are not ordinary Dice, and they do not want to be treated that way. Roll them one at a time and always on a soft surface or in a dice tray. Stone does not fare well against stone, and hard tabletops are unforgiving. Treat them like the treasure they are, and they will accompany you through many adventures.
