Draconic Orrery - D100
The mages called it an orrery, a model of the celestial spheres built to calculate motion and fate. This one was built for other reasons. Between the digits, dragons coil through interwoven vines, as if guarding the numbers themselves. What it displays depends on the roll. What the roll means—the dragons decide.
The Draconic Orrery is no ordinary percentile die. The spherical hollow metal construction bears a dense, three-dimensionally cast relief of dragons across its entire surface—100 fields, each framed, each guarded. Between the digits, the dragonwork winds like a living system, imbuing every roll with meaning.
The hollow metal design gives the Dice a lightness you would not expect from its appearance, and when it strikes the table it sounds hollow and rich at the same time. The digits are raised within the relief and clearly legible thanks to their coloring, even as the sphere rolls.
As a single die, the Draconic Orrery is a statement; as an addition to an existing set, it turns every percentile roll into an event. And as a collector's piece, it needs no justification.
