The focus is not on heroic strength and powerful weapons, but on investigation, difficult decisions, and the gradual loss of one’s own mental stability. Every clue may bring the investigators closer to the truth, but some revelations come at a high price.
The 7th Edition core rulebook contains all the necessary rules, background information, and tools to run your own scenarios and campaigns. The revised game mechanics make it easier to get started while remaining largely compatible with earlier publications.

Note
The core rulebook was developed primarily for the Game Master and contains all the information needed to run Cthulhu adventures. At least one copy of the 7th Edition is required within the group to play.
