Session Zero adventure for the Stormlight Roleplaying Game - Introduction & Stonewalkers Prologue

The First Step is a special adventure for the Cosmere Roleplaying Game: not the classic process of fitting into a predefined role, but a true Session Zero experience in which the characters only come into being through play itself. The character sheets are blank at the beginning, and each player's decisions over the course of the story shape the character that emerges from them.
The Story
A convoy is in danger. A vengeful Shardbearer attacks, and ordinary people must decide: flee or stand fast? How they act, whom they protect, what risks they take - all of this determines who their characters become. Heroes are not created by decisions made before the game, but in the middle of it.
Three ways to use this adventure:
- As Session Zero - The most elegant introduction to the Cosmere Roleplaying Game for new groups. Character creation and first adventure merge into a single, unforgettable evening.
- As a standalone one-shot adventure - Perfect for game nights with newcomers or as a trial session in the Stormlight setting.
- As a prologue to the Stonewalkers campaign - If you want to continue playing right afterward, you can use The First Step seamlessly as the opening to the great Stonewalkers campaign.
The adventure contains all the basic rules required for play. The Stormlight Handbook completes the experience - but is not strictly necessary to get started.
