Brindlewood Bay
Murder, tea, and cosmic terror behind well-kept gardens.
Brindlewood Bay is an unusual tabletop roleplaying game that combines the cozy detective charm of Murder, She Wrote with the ominous horror of H. P. Lovecraft. Players take on the roles of elderly ladies, members of the local Murder Mavens Mystery Book Club, who solve murders in an idyllic small town in New England long before the police catch the right scent.
But the deeper they dig, the clearer it becomes: the individual crimes are connected. Behind lace doilies, tea parties, and book clubs lies a dark occult conspiracy threatening their town and perhaps more. To save their community, the Murder Mavens must look horror directly in the eye.
The game is deliberately designed to be low-prep, easy to access, and works regardless of experience with roleplaying games. The focus is on investigation, collaborative storytelling, and slowly escalating horror.
